The playwright Libby Skala's well-received one-woman show, in which she plays both herself and her indomitable Viennese-born grandmother, the actress Lilia Skala (who was nominated for an Academy Award for "Lilies of the Field," in 1963), has returned to the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex for a short run. In this autobiographical one-woman show, the playwright Libby Skala plays both herself and her indomitable, Viennese-born grandmother, Lilia Skala, who was nominated for an Academy Award for "Lilies of the Field" in 1963, and who also acted in "Flashdance" and "House of Games." July 31 at 4. Part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival, a showcase of some two dozen plays, which runs through Aug. 3.
